A Cornish valley and private beach
Wander through 4 miles of vibrantly decked pathways towards the Helford River and a secluded private beach.
Discover giant Chusan Palms, 100-year-old rhododendrons, a giant gunnera, magnolias, camellias and hydrangea’s amongst blooms usually found in southern climates.
Family and dog friendly, there are children’s play areas, trails and seasonal activities and plenty to see throughout the year.
Making the most of a natural spring and found in the centre of Trebah, a series of pools flow downhill and cascade surrounded by lush plants.
Zig-zagging beside the stream, a variety of different species of bamboos create a maze.
A cob-walled summerhouse surrounded by fragrant flowers.
Hundred of specimens flower throughout the spring.
Over 50 years old, the blooms retain a deep blue colour due to the rich acid soil.
Hide amongst the giant leaves situated between the Azolla Pool and the Mallard Pond.
Stumpery & Cascade
A cascade of water flows in this shady dell full of ferns and ancient tree stumps.
Climb down the narrow steps and enjoy time at Polgwidden Cove with views of the Helford River towards Frenchman’s Creek and Falmouth Bay.
The Boathouse Cafe is open during peak season and sells ice cream, tea and coffee and will hire out buckets and spades.
Serving breakfast from 10am, lunch from noon until 2.30pm, plus coffee, tea and cake from 10am until 3.30pm. Sunday and special lunches also served.

Around 80% of the garden is accessible via a motorised wheelchair as there are steep hills. Countryside Mobility Scheme in place.
Live theatre, music and dance events take place at the amphitheatre.
